YES WE ARE OPEN EASTER SUNDAY This Issue We look at Long Acre Farm, where your pork comes from. Last week Drop The Beet and Mama Lou's shared first prize for their decorated stall. One lucky punter went home with $200 of market vouchers. I gave out so many spot prizes I lost count, folks had free coffee packs, produce, pate, flowers and much more to add a bit of cheer to their Sunday, whilst celebrating National Farmers Market Day, a huge success, what can we come up with for next year? This Sunday, a fantastic Easter Market is happening, with a new total of stalls, music, and sun (hopefully)

After five years of bringing you the Marlborough Farmers’ Market newsletter, it’s time for me to pass the pen. In 2018, on this very day, I penned my first piece, casting a spotlight on our incredible stallholders and their nourishing offerings, each edition designed to kindle your taste buds. Through 245 newsletters, countless social media entries and press releases I’ve savoured the task to keep you informed and engaged. Thrilled to have been part of the market's lively tapestry, witnessing the growth and success of many start-up business, I now hand the newsletter to the Market Manager. It has been a pleasure to contribute to the vibrancy of the market, and to connect with our awesome stallholders and you over this time. Here's to the continued success of the Marlborough Farmers' Market! Stay curious, stay inspired, and keep relishing the abundance of goodness our market brings you each week. It’s a great start to June with the Monarch's birthday long weekend. Sadly, it’s also the last Sunday for the Gourmet Deli. But fret not. They will be back in October. By popular request, Margaret will make lots of carrot cakes for her last day. Great occasion to buy the cookbook for cooking inspiration.
