Market Manager
After five years of bringing you the Marlborough Farmers’ Market newsletter, it’s time for me to pass the pen. In 2018, on this very day, I penned my first piece, casting a spotlight on our incredible stallholders and their nourishing offerings, each edition designed to kindle your taste buds.
Through 245 newsletters, countless social media entries and press releases I’ve savoured the task to keep you informed and engaged.
Thrilled to have been part of the market's lively tapestry, witnessing the growth and success of many start-up business, I now hand the newsletter to the Market Manager.
It has been a pleasure to contribute to the vibrancy of the market, and to connect with our awesome stallholders and you over this time.
Here's to the continued success of the Marlborough Farmers' Market! Stay curious, stay inspired, and keep relishing the abundance of goodness our market brings you each week.
You will still find me with my spray-free greens at the Community Stall, so I am not going far.
I and our stallholders l forward to seeing you Sunday!

Come and have a wee taste of Mamma Lou's homemade chai tea! It's sugar & dairy free but full of natural spices and sweetness of liquorice root. Spices like ginger, cardamom and cinnamon can be beneficial for boosting your immune system and improving digestion & circulation. Perfect for keeping you warm this winter.

It contains three soups that have already been ground and have Coconut Cream Powder added to the mix. Just add 1 1/2 cups of boiling water and your soup is ready. Leek and Potato, Curried Pumpkin and Celery (with my homemade curry powder) & Green Velvet are three really delicious soups.

Rain or shine, Minghettis will attend the market.....even with the snow.
We'll have our usual selection of Sourdoughs, perhaps Marco will attempt a 100% freshly milled spelt tin loaf...... we'll make our Sunday's treats.....the spotlight, this time, is on the burnt cheesecake, traditional of Spain, cheesy, creamy and supa dupa caramelized..... hopefully we'll manage to bake it properly.

This week will be the final week for Sonya and Fuji apple varieties, and come along to check out our exciting new change! We are transitioning to clips so with the help of our wonderful customers we can reduce the amount of packaging we use. You can return bags and clips on your next visit so we can reuse them. Great for the environment!

Customers are getting their pruning gear into shape. Because tools are rusty does not mean they can't be reconditioned back to good condition.
Save money save waste. If you have any garden tools, woodwork tools, kitchen utensils, knives, other items with a blunt edge, come and see me at the market.
cheers Ron
Take a peek at our website homepage, to see which stalls will be attending. We update this page on Saturdays..
