HOMEMADE . KIWI

QUINCE,  POWDER OF THE WEEK

Quinces are low in calories and boast a variety of essential vitamins and minerals making them a nutritious fruit.

Because Quinces are unlike most other fruits they are very rarely eaten raw, however, there are many other ways of enjoying this wonderful fruit including Powdered Quince which we have for sale here at the Farmers Market.

You can try sprinkling the powdered quince on your yogurt or morning cereal, or 1 teaspoon of powder with a teaspoon of honey in a mug of hot water, use as a topping on your favourite sweet muffin or add a teaspoon to your morning smoothie. Try and enjoy. Alys
