New Heritage Bakery
The German rye bread will be making an appearance at this market, after a few requests! (Dense, kibbled, long keeping bread) There will be some tastings available, if people haven't tried it yet.
Also more of the apple slice & apple strudel are in the works....
Golden Mile
Golden Mile Produce will see you on Sunday with lots of fresh produce. Plenty of strawberry conserve for hot toast or crumpets. Delicious to add a teaspoon to a baked rice pudding!
We will also have the ever favourite pickled onions in stock. Nothing nicer than sitting by the fire on a cold night with a glass of your favourite tipple, pickled onions and a slice of cheese (Cranky Goat have some excellent options!). The Honey and Bayleaf recipe was from Sally's great grandmother who seen her 99th year, so we have kept on with tradition. There's something to be said for family recipes, tried & true, handed down through the generations. What's your favourite? Take the time to teach and share these treasures! See you Sunday. Stephen

This Sunday Minghettis is coming with 2 new entries:
Sacher Torte, a soft almond & chocolate cake layered with Apricot jam and glazed with Chocolate Ganache.
Spongata , a typical treat from Silvia's region.
Two layers of Homemade flaky pastry filled with Our special Pear Jam enriched with Sultana, Mixed peel, roasted Almonds and Cinnamon.
We ll have aside the Smoked Paprika & Brie Sourdough Bread all plain breads.

Pedro is back
Pedro will be at the market this Sunday with his nine flavours of empanadas.
Marlborough Farmers' Market has an opportunity for community organisations. We have a free stall for one organisation each Sunday - we provide a gazebo and table for you, and invite you to tell our customers what you do, sell raffle tickets or fund raise.
