Thanks for coming to our Mothers Day focused farmers’ market last Sunday. Beautiful weather and a great crowd.
TThis week at Golden Mile Produce we want to entice your taste buds to think about warm & wonderful flavours using fresh local delicious vegetables. Pumpkins for roasting & soups, with sweet & colorful capsicum. Spinach, coriander, silverbeet and chillies to add some warmth (or super hot ) that pack a punch.
Missing our strawberries ? Remember we still have our very popular strawberry conserve made with our own strawberries . Magic with scones or crumpets.
Don't forget to visit our giant pumpkin!
Happy birthday Stephen (yes it's his birthday on Sunday) . S & S

Some spray free broccoli and cabbage and some vibrant coloured swiss chard will be on the stall, but no tomatoes or zucchini as the season for them is definitely over!

It’s that time of year again. Axes for some will be in use soon. It’s important to keep the axe head sharp and tight on the handle and the handle oiled to keep it from splitting.
If you have an axe that needs sharpening or repairing or any other tool, utensil or knives that need sharpening come and see me at the Marlborough Farmers' Market on Sunday.
Cheers, Ron
