New Year’s Resolution

If you made a new year’s list hopefully a few from our list is on yours too.

A few Market Highlights

Ice cream and summer go hand in hand

It’s going to be another scorcher. We expect Goats Amore to not just be popular for the cuddly goat, (milk and yoghurt for that matter), but also for it’s refreshing Goats milk ice cream. Check out the flavours at the market.

Summer fruit

Tree ripened tasty plums, blueberries, strawberries, black berries, cherries, peaches, blackberries, apricots, lemons, oranges, you name it. You are bound to find it at the market from one of our many fruit stalls –

The Pot shed, Windsong Orchard, Marlborough Blueberries, Sommerville Orchard, Eden Orchards, and The Purple Patch.

Meander the stalls and explore.

Preserves make great gifts and are also so handy for the cheese and meat boards during this time of year. Check out Traditional Country Preserves, Boom! Sauce, Spice and BBQ, Three Cats and our Information Stall for local flavours.

Cut Flower bounty

We welcome The Pot Shed back to the market. Beautifully colourful gerberas with striking ray florets in yellow, orange, white, pink or red colours.

Stock up the larder

Don’t forget you can stock up on cheese, meats (everything from BBQ sausages, biltong to pate), vegan tempeh and hummus, eggs, goat’s milk and even ice cream, fresh veggies, honey and a range of locally grown almonds and hazelnuts at the market too.
